Sister Lotte is very busy as mayor. Predecessor Wöller wants his former profession back. The marriage between Barbara and Dr. Richter is prepared. Suddenly the statue of the holy Magdalena is gone.

Contractor Huber runs out of projects and can't lent money from the bank anymore. He seems to go bankrupt. Wöller offers him his help but his real aim is to abolish mayor Lotte.

After a trick from Wolfgang Wöller mayor Lotte has suddenly no secretary. Lotte appoints Agnes has her right hand but she is not capable for the job. Sister Sophie gives spiritual care through chatting.

Secretary Marianne Laban works for mayor Wöllers again. He places a contact ad for improving his private live; a blind date seems to be perfect. Barbara is disorientated after Martin's burial. Lotte helps her.
