While helping at his family's patisserie, Rintaro meets Kaoruko. He fears his appearance has scared her off - but she returns the next day to see him.

Tensions between the two schools escalate during a commotion at Chidori's gates. Later, Rintaro finds a surprise visitor waiting at the patisserie.
