Bereits im April sagte Bryan Fuller (geistiger Schöpfer hinter "Pushing Daisies" und "Hannibal"), dass er Interesse daran hat eine neue "Star Trek" TV-Serie zu entwickeln. Doch seitdem hat sich nicht viel getan. Bis jetzt: So veröffentlichte Fuller ein Update, dass er weiterhin eine Serie möchte, es jedoch zu früh sei, ob er die Chance dafür hat.
"I would love to create a 'Star Trek' show, so that's on my dream docket," he said, adding that "Star Trek" is "such a big universe" that the new show would be able to go to "many different places."
"I have a very specific idea that I would love to do. We'll see if I ever get the opportunity."
