Auf der Promo-Tour zum Action-Thriller "Lone Survivor", sprach Regisseur Peter Berg ("Hancock", "Battleship") über seine möglichen kommenden Projekte: Da wäre zum einen eine Fortsetzung zu "Welcome to the Jungle" (OT: "The Rundown") sowie eine Kinoumsetzung seiner "Friday Night Lights"-Serie.

"We just met with writers, so we're trying to do it. I've talked to Dwayne. I have an actor in mind that I can't say that I want to work with Dwayne on it."

Für "Welcome to the Jungle" hat er gar schon Dwayne getroffen. Jedoch hat er einen weiteren Schauspieler im Sinn, wo er sich nicht sicher ist, ob er ihn mit Dwayne auf die Leinwand bringen soll.
