Auf der aktuellen Promo-Tour zu seinem neuen Film "Zero Theorem", hat Regisseur Terry Gilliam nun sein nächstes Film-Projekt verkündet. Und zwar kein geringeres als "The Man Who Killed Don Quixote". Ein Projekt, welches Gilliam bereits im Jahre 2000 startete mit Johnny Depp in der Rolle des Sancho Panza.

Es wurde damals auch bereits eine Menge gedreht, doch aufgrund von Unfällen sowie schrecklichem Wetter, wurde das Projekt beendet. Erst 2002 wurden die Szenen in der Doku "Lost in La Mancha" verwendet.

"I'm going to try to do 'Don Quixote' again," So Gilliam "I think this is the seventh time. Lucky seven, maybe. We'll see if it happens. This is kind of my default position, going back to that. I actually just want to make it and get rid of it. Get it out of my life." He continued: "I don't know if it will be good or bad. The dangerous thing is that a lot of people are waiting for it, so I can disappoint a lot of people maybe."

Bislang gibt es nur Gerüchte zum Cast. Allerdings wird Johnny Depp nicht in die Rolle zurückkehren.
